Vita Student only Studio, Portswood House Southampton

Great value for money Positive: I had a great short term stay. I appreciated that the staff were flexible on check-in and check-out times. I needed a place to stay during semester two exams after a poor living conditions in my student house, so I was so glad Vita offered a flexible, student-friendly atmosphere with much better living conditions. The atmosphere was welcoming and the students were respectful and friendly. I especially loved the common hub area. It had a cozy, coffee shop vibe that made it a perfect spot to get work done. They also organise some activities as movie nights, though I never got a chance to participate. Better than a bed and breakfast or guest house and better value for money than a most hotels of around the same price given it’s a studio style. Which meant access to an oven and microwave. They also provided breakfast(Monday to Friday), which was a bonus and actually tasted great. The facilities are clean and also you can request to have your room cleaned at anytime , they also have a laundry room. The staff in charge are great and genuinely seem to care about feedback to improve things for guests, which I appreciate. Negative: I had a few issues that prevent me from giving a full 5-star rating and affect my rating on comfort, but they were likely specific to my situation, for example, problems with the WiFi. Other than that I highly recommend over other options of around the same price.
